Selecting Calendar Permissions

The icons in the list mean the following:
Everyone who can use the calendar
User
Group
All users or groups belonging to an organization
All users or groups belonging to an organization unit

Note: In the WebService, you cannot specify or .


A calendar can have the following permissions:
If you use the Teamware Office Windows client, you can select various combinations of these permissions.

S See calendar You can confirm the existence of a calendar.
G Create appointments You can create appointments.
T See time and autoconfirm You can see whether a certain time range has an appointment, and confirm the status of that appointment according to its color. You cannot view other information about the appointment, such as the creator or the message text of the appointment.
B See subject You can view all the information about the appointment except for the message text.
M See message text You can see the message text of the appointment.
W See week memo You can see the week memo.
L Modify appointments created by me A different user or group can modify an appointment created by you in your own calendar.
N Change week memo You can enter details in the week memo and modify it.
F Confirm appointments automatically The appointment created in the calendar is confirmed automatically.
R Confirm or reject appointments You can [Confirm] or [Reject] the appointment.
P Change permissions You can modify the permissions.
C Change calendar You can modify the properties.
D Delete calendar You can delete the calendar.
Note: You cannot use the week memo from the WebService.


You can select the following permissions from the WebService:

See calendar S You can see the calendar, but you cannot confirm whether an appointment has been made.
Create appointments SG You can create appointments in the calendar. You cannot view whether an appointment has been made.
See reserved time SGT You can create appointments and view whether a certain time range has had an appointment made for it.
See time and autoconfirm SGTF You can create appointments and view whether a certain time range has had an appointment made for it. The appointment that you create is confirmed automatically.
See subject SGTB You can create appointments and view all appointment information except for the message text.
See subject and autoconfirm SGTBF You can create appointments and view all appointment information except for the message text.
The appointment that you create is confirmed automatically.
See message text SGTBM You can create appointments and view all appointment information including the message text.
See message text and autoconfirm SGTBMF You can create appointments and view all appointment information including the message text.
The appointment that you create is confirmed automatically.
Read-only STBMW You can view the subject of the appointment. You cannot create an appointment.
Secretarial SGTBMWNRL You can create appointments and view all appointment information including the message text.
You can also [Confirm] or [Reject] an appointment, and modify the contents of an appointment that was created by the owner of the calendar.
Full access SGTBMWNFRPCDL You have full permissions.
In addition to the permissions available in [Secretarial], you can also confirm appointments automatically, modify permissions, modify properties and delete the calendar.
Note:* Where multiple permissions have been selected for the same user, the greater permissions will apply. However, [No access] will override any other permissions.
e.g.: Where the following permissions are selected,
For user A, [See calendar]
For user B, [No access]
For [Everyone], [See reserved time]
The permissions for user A become [See reserved time], and the permissions for user B become [No access].

* A user who has calendar manager rights can see any calendar, modify the properties and select the permissions for any calendar.


Browse
Adds users and groups that can use the calendar.
Remove
Removes users and groups that can use the calendar.
Select a user or group and click it to add or remove it.
By selecting all the users or groups that you have configured and clicking [Remove],
[See reserved time] is added automatically for [Everyone].
Add Everyone
Adds everyone that can use the calendar.


OK
Selects the permissions for a user or group.
Displays the Help.
