The Toolbar


What is the Toolbar?
The Toolbar is an application for using WebService functions from a Web browser toolbar.
Note that the WebService must have been set up before the Toolbar can be used.

The Toolbar can be used with the following operating systems:
  • Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 98 operating system
  • Microsoft(R) Windows(R) Millennium Edition operating system
  • Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 2000 Professional operating system
  • Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 2000 Server operating system
  • Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 2000 Advanced Server operating system
  • Microsoft(R) Windows(R) XP Professional operating system
  • Microsoft(R) Windows(R) XP Home Edition operating system
The Toolbar can be used with the following Web browsers:
  • Microsoft(R) Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2
  • Microsoft(R) Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1
Note: The Toolbar is not Windows XP style (Luna) aware. The Toolbar buttons will be displayed in the traditional style even after installing on Windows XP.

Installing the Toolbar
Click the link below to start the installation of the Toolbar. The installer starts up.

During the installation, a "WebService Server Address Settings" window asks you to enter a server address. Enter the correct address provided by your system administrator. Note that you can modify the server address that you set in the Toolbar Settings window later, after the installation is completed.
In all cases, follow the instructions as they appear in the appropriate window.


Install Toolbar


TeamWARE Button
Click the TeamWARE button at the left end of the toolbar to open to the WebService Top page. At this point, you may be asked to log in.

Toolbar Menu
Click the arrow at the right side of the TeamWARE button to display the pull-down menu.


Toolbar Settings
Makes the Toolbar settings.
Display Selects the buttons displayed in the Toolbar. You can also choose to display or hide the button text label.
WebService Server Address Displays the server address that was set for the installation. When the server address is modified by the administrator, the server address is modified here.
When you modify this setting, you have to restart all your browser windows to let the changes take effect.
Option When the Check Mail icon is clicked, the WebService Mail Service starts up. You can set the path to another mailer here so that it starts up instead.

Help
Displays the toolbar Help.

About TWO Toolbar
Displays the toolbar version information.

Uninstall
Uninstalls the toolbar.


Toolbar Button Functions
Check Mail Opens the WebService Mail Service and executes sending and receiving of mail. If you are logged in to Teamware Office, whenever there is incoming mail the color of this button changes to notify you of mew messages.
Note: You must modify the WebService profile before you can execute the incoming mail notifier in an environment that does not use TeamWARE Notifier.
To do this, enter a "@" (1 single-byte character) in the Notice address part of the profile.
Latest Forum Displays the subject of the latest Forum messages as a menu list. Click a subject in the list to open the WebService View Contents window. When a new article is posted, the color of this button changes to notify you of new posts.
Find Free Time Opens the WebService Resource Calendar Find Free Time window.
Write Mail Opens the WebService Composing the message window. If you drag a selected piece of text and then drop it on this icon, the text is pasted to the Message text field in the Composing the message window.
Note: When you drag and drop a piece of text onto this icon and click the Send or Cancel button after the selected text has been pasted to the Message text field, the following message will be displayed: "The Web page you are viewing is trying to close the window. Do you want to close this window?"
This message may differ from the shown example, but you can normally continue your operation.
Create Appointment Opens the WebService Creating the appointment window. If you drag a selected piece of text and then drop it on this icon, the text is pasted to the Description text field in the Creating the appointment window.
Note: When you drag and drop a text onto this icon and click the Create or Cancel button after the selected text has been pasted to the Description field, the following message will be displayed: "The Web page you are viewing is trying to close the window. Do you want to close this window?"
This message may differ from the shown example, but you can normally continue your operation.
Post in Forum Opens the WebService Writing a new message window. If you drag the selected text and then drop it on this icon, the text is pasted to the Message field in the Writing a new message window.
Note: When you drag and drop a text onto this icon and click the Post or Cancel button after the selected text has been pasted to the Message field, the following message will be displayed: "The Web page you are viewing is trying to close the window. Do you want to close this window?"
This message may differ from the shown example, but you can normally continue your operation.
